The Turin Giants Bring In Previous Italian National Team Manager Luciano Spalletti

Juventus have named ex- Italy head coach the veteran manager to take the helm for the remainder of the campaign.

Spalletti takes over from his predecessor, who was let go post the Lazio setback recently.

Tudor arrived at the club in March filling the shoes of Thiago Motta but exited following a seven-month stint at the end of an eight-match winless run.

Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, who had failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.

Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.

Yet, the Italian FA let Spalletti go in June post a qualifying defeat against Norway, with the Azzurri at risk of missing out on a third consecutive World Cup.

He has previously coached Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Italy's top flight and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.

Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus during the 3-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.

In the Champions League, they sit 25th in the league phase, after recording one defeat and two ties in the initial three fixtures.
